Spring Break Mission Trip

We will head down to Alabama to work with Alabama Rural Ministry. ARM hosts mission work teams and volunteers who repair homes for under served families in east central Alabama. We will have the opportunity to do simply home repair through the week.

We will leave on Saturday morning and drive down to the Alabama coast. We will stay overnight in a church and spend part of Sunday at the beach. Then we will head back north to Tuskegee for a week of work.

Our accommodations will be at a former parsonage which began as the historic Huntingdon Women's College. It has three large sleeping rooms, three showers, large kitchen, and three meeting rooms and comfortably holds up to 25 people. We will be responsible for making our own meals.

This area of Alabama is rich in history, especially during the days of the fight for civil rights. We will have an opportunity to visit some historic locations.
