Open hearts, open minds, open doors

About Us

We are a group of students and young adults who strive to know God, know and
experience our faith, and come to know ourselves. We do this through worship, small groups, service, and by just getting to know each other. And most importantly, we are a community that is open to all God's people. We work hard to live out the motto of "open hearts, open minds, and open doors."

Our official mission statement is:
The Wesley Foundation at EIU connects students to the love of God known through the life of Jesus Christ. We strive to offer a spiritual home, provide opportunities for personal growth and spiritual formation, serve Christ by serving others, work for peace with justice, develop Christian leaders and provide outreach through missions.

Our campus minister is Rev. Paige Roberts. Paige is an ordained elder in the United Methodist Church and has served as campus minister since November 2004. She is married to Nathan and the mother of Myles and Cameron.
